Mini skirts appeared in the 1960s ,when fashion started to be controlled by the younger generation.The word <<mini>> came from minimum which in fashion indicated skirts that showed the thighs.With the repsected position of haute the mini skirt came to be accepted by society!Women were already wearing trousers for leisure wear,but after their acceptance they became far more commons.
